Is anyone else getting “If Things Were Different” feels?

ACTUALLY, I also get feels from Peachdreamsandperseus’ newest story “Something There That Wasn’t There Before”

OR this takes place in Rep’s blind AU & Sybil wants Tom to know she still finds him sexy & adventurous so she’s getting him pointed in the right direction by feeling him up under the table!

But he doesn’t know for sure that its sybil since they have guests at dinner! That’s why he looks so surprised!

Had Sir Richard been familiar with Burke’s Peerage, he’d have known that Lady Rosamund had only retained her curtesy title upon marrying, to which she was entitled as the daughter of an Earl, but not as the wife of a “commoner”. 

By the same token, Sybil remained Lady Sybil, but would not become Lady Branson, nor would she ever be called Lady Sybil Branson. 

Cora, on the other hand, would never be called Lady Cora, her father having been a commoner. Her claim to a title is through her husband, who is an Earl, thus she is Lady Grantham, never Lady Cora, or Lady Crawley. The same applies to Violet, Dowager Countess of Grantham.

Robert Crawley’s title while his father, the fourth Earl of Gratham, had been alive, was most likely Viscount Downton.

This is going to seem really strange, but do any of the downstairs staff wear a cross or is religious in any way in canon?

Does anyone know? Please… I’m begging for an answer…

I would have put this in your askbox but I couldn’t find it.

In S2 Anna & Bates go to Church to pray together and in S3 when Branson has a daughter makes it clear he wants to raise her Catholic.
